The first thing to consider is where you plan to use the candle. It is better to choose subtle scents for kitchen spaces where floral smells can often contrast too strongly against your cooking. Premium candles (like Christmas fragrance candles) will most likely be made from beeswax, palm wax, bayberry wax or a blend of the three as all three waxes hold fragrances very well and have a long burn time.
